Ariel – Oxygen
Ariel floats through “Oxygen” with the kind of slow-burn R&B that demands repeat listens. Released October 17 via Mello Music Group, the track balances intimacy with ambition, pulling you into its orbit without apology.
Producer Relyae (Shearaton Carter) built the foundation, and it’s solid. Carter also handled recording, mixing, and mastering, giving the whole production a unified feel. Ariel co-wrote with John Masina, crafting lyrics that play with space and gravity as metaphors for attraction and independence.
Her vocals move between whisper and declaration, never pushing too hard. Lines about moon trips and roller coasters could feel gimmicky, but Ariel keeps them grounded in real emotion.
“Oxygen” sits comfortably in late-night playlists, but has enough presence to stand alone. Ariel knows precisely what she’s doing here, and it shows in every choice.
